Young dancers performances

Our young dancers were the heart of the event. Their enthusiasm, creativity and boundless energy made this conference truly special. They brought new perspectives and fresh ideas that pushed the boundaries of what dance can be.

We witnessed performances that inspired and broadened our horizons. This was a time to learn from each other, to celebrate what we've achieved and to imagine together where dance goes from here. Thank you for your contribution.

Ljubljana Declaration

On Thursday 11th July as part of the Dance and the Child (daCi) 2024 world conference in Slovenia, the Dance and the Child international Ljubljana Declaration was proclaimed and signed by the Republic of Slovenia Minister of Culture, Asta Vrečko and Minister of Education, Darjo Felda, daCi Chair, Jeff Meiners and incoming daCi Chair, Vesna Geršak. In addition, Gašper Hrastelj, Secretary General, Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO attended as honorary patron of the daCi 2024 Slovenia Conference.
